Time: (Monday), June 17, 2024, 10:30–12:00
Venue: 1F Lecture Hall, School of Computer, Electronics and Information
Abstract: Neural signals contain rich information about human health, playing a crucial role throughout the entire process of health assurance including proactive prevention, intelligent diagnosis, precise treatment, and scientific rehabilitation. However, neural signals exhibit characteristics such as extremely low magnitude, strong randomness, and diverse modalities, posing challenges such as severe aliasing, poor repeatability, and heterogeneity across multiple sources. This presentation will introduce methods and its applications for neural physiological signal decomposition, correlation, and fusion based on joint blind source separation and deep feature representation from the perspectives of multi-set and multi-modal approaches. It will explore effective strategies for separating complex interference information, analyzing latent commonalities, and mining heterogeneous complementary information to overcome interference, reconcile differences, and integrate complementary aspects.
